Apple manages purchases. You keep control of your material.

Different App Store and iCloud accounts

Pro follows the App Store account used for Media & Purchases on the device. Mac discovery, private sync and remote tasks follow the iCloud account. These accounts can differ, so a device may have Pro while showing no Mac or library from another iCloud account. To use the same Pro purchase across devices, use the same App Store account on each device. To connect the same Macs and tasks, use the same iCloud account. Never send account passwords to support.

Restore purchases

Choose Restore Purchases under Settings → Plan on Mac or iPad, or Profile → Plan on iPhone. The system may ask you to authenticate your Apple Account. First check that the device uses the App Store account that made the purchase. Restoring only refreshes transactions supplied by Apple; it does not import, overwrite or delete material. If it still fails, send the device, OS version, SourcePath version and an error message with private details removed. Do not send card details, passwords or a full receipt.

Cancellation and refunds

Manage Subscription opens Apple subscription settings. After you cancel automatic renewal, Pro normally remains available until the paid period ends. Apple handles refund requests and decisions. An approved refund or transaction revocation may end Pro before the original expiry date. SourcePath cannot approve a refund on Apple’s behalf and does not need your payment details.

What remains after expiry

After expiry, Free Core, your originals, local libraries, existing results, historical data, library exports and basic result exports remain available. A task you already confirmed finishes under its existing authorisation. New large-scope analyses, topic maps, AI library diagnosis and new body-materialisation tasks require active Pro. Expiry does not delete or lock existing data.

Send feedback about your workflow

This is not an application gate. The fields help us understand whether SourcePath fits your workflow and arrange follow-up.

The structured feedback service is not deployed yet. Submitting opens your default mail app so you can review the message before sending.

Frequently asked

A few things to confirm before you get in touch.

Contact support
Does SourcePath upload my material?

It does not upload the material you select to SourcePath servers. Parsing, indexing, reading and library management happen on device.

What leaves the device during an AI task?

When you ask about, summarise or extract information from the current iPhone document, only the required content from that document, the current action and necessary conversation context are sent. When a request does not include the full text, the result states the actual coverage. Remote analysis sends only the scope you approved and runs on the Mac. Requests go directly from the executing device to the AI service shown in the interface, without passing through SourcePath servers.

What does “connect your own AI service account” mean?

SourcePath does not bundle or resell a model service. To use AI, connect an account you already have in Settings; most services authorise this with an API key. The key stays in the current device Keychain and is not written to the library or private iCloud. Import, reading, search and library management work without a connection.

Who bills model usage?

Charges go to your own provider account. SourcePath does not sell model credits.

Which file types can it work with?

Import, parsing, search and AI analysis all cover Markdown, TXT, HTML, PDF and DOCX. Files marked partially parsed do not enter AI analysis — for DOCX that means files with embedded objects, with body text mostly inside text boxes, or using a non-standard namespace; they remain readable and searchable. Scanned documents and OCR have known limits.

Which devices are available?

The TestFlight betas for Mac, iPad and iPhone are open through one public link. Mac is the full workspace; iPad is its lighter touch edition; iPhone is an independent local library that can ask about, summarise or extract information from the current document and, during staged rollout, browse Mac titles, confirm tasks and view results.

What is shared between devices?

Imported originals and each device’s local library do not sync automatically. Once a Mac is connected, iPhone receives encrypted device and catalogue information, a Mac document-title index, task state and encrypted results through your private iCloud. Mac document bodies do not go to the cloud or phone, and remote search is title-only.

How do I report a problem?

Use the support page or send an email. Do not attach API keys, passwords, private documents or sensitive screenshots.
